Balkan Gas Hub EAD operates the  first and sole platform for disclosure of inside information in Bulgaria and the SEE region, registered by ACER.

BGH IIP adheres to the Regulation on wholesale energy market integrity and transparency (REMIT) and Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER) requirements and guarantees to the market participants effective disclosure of inside information in full accordance with the regulation provisions.

Pursuant to Section 4 of the ACER Guidance on the application of Regulation (EU) №1227/2011, inside information shall be disclosed through the publication of Urgent Market Massages (UMMs) on an Inside Information Platform approved and registered by ACER.

Via dedicated press-releases, ACER and Energy and Water Regulatory Commission underline that “as of 1 January 2023 the disclosure of inside information is expected to take place exclusively through Inside Information Platforms”.

BGH IIP allows the market participants to publish inside information in accordance with the requirements of Regulation (EU) №1227/2011, the ACER Guidance on the application of Regulation (EU) №1227/2011 and Articles 155e and 155f of the NLDE.

BGH IIP's Inside information publication services are available both to members of the organized market of BGH EAD and to market participants (third parties) that do not use the BGH Trading Platform from all EU Member States and the Energy Community Contracting Parties.

Access to BGH IIP services could be granted to a market participant based on signed “Agreement for use of BGH IIP” with BGH. This is the only legitimate basis that could allow a market participant to refer to Balkan Gas Hub and/or BGH IIP as “location for publication of inside information” in its ACER CEREMP registrations pursuant to Article 9 of Regulation (EU) №1227/2011.
