We are pleased to inform you that on August 12, 2022, an auction was held on the trading platform of " Balkan Gas Hub " EAD for the purchase of natural gas from "Bulgargaz" EAD for the product with a delivery date of September 2022 with place of delivery virtual trading point of "Bulgartransgaz" EAD (VTP Bulgaria).

43 companies had the right to participate in the auction - members of the BGH market, which have the necessary licenses to carry out the "natural gas trade" activity in the country.

With huge interest and a dynamic supply of offers for sale, the auction ended successfully, as all quantities requested through the trading platform were traded for the month of September 2022 by Bulgargaz EAD in the amount of 11,300 MWh/d.

Today's successful auction proved that organizing auctions through the trading platform is an effective option to electronically address the country's supply shortages in the coming months and is of great benefit to the market development and liquidity enhancement. With the help of the trading platform of "Balkan Gas Hub" EAD, the predictability and transparency of the process of procuring the necessary quantities is increased, achieving favorable conditions for the public supplier and the companies that have quantities of natural gas for Bulgaria, with timely planning and disclosure of detailed information on upcoming auctions.
